Gensol Consultants Pvt. Ltd. founded in March 2007 is a 360 degree Carbon Solution Provider with proficiency in generation, registration and trading of Certified as well as Verified Emission Reductions (CERs and VERs), better known as carbon credits.

Under the dynamic entrepreneurship and vision of Mr. Anmol Jaggi, Gensol has climbed the ladder of success at an exponential rate in a short span of time. Gensol has a staff strength of 60 employees in the 3 verticals of Carbon Advisory, Carbon Neutrality Services and Carbon Asset Management Services.  Gensol is today one of the most aggressive and energetic carbon consultancy’s with an annual turnover of 6 crores.

The company has numerous projects across the length and breadth of the country with over 10 million Emission Reductions in the first commitment period already under its wing. Gensol has been providing consulting to projects of Wind energy, Hydropower, biomass power generation, fuel switch etc. Today, Gensol has expanded into the space of Carbon footprinting or quantification of emissions for corporates as well as industries. Gensol’s asset management and solar businesses are currently in the commercialization phase. Their clientele includes Bajaj Hindustan, Mastek, Welspun Gujarat, Asian tiles, Chandigarh Distillers, Zaveri, K.P. Sanghvi, Durgapur Chemicals etc. Gensol has tie-ups with organizations like ABB, Quippo, Suzlon etc and are impaneled consultants for both the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Government.

At present, Gensol has offices in Ahmedabad, Panchkula (Chandigarh) and Mumbai. They are in the process of setting up 3 new offices in India i.e. Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata and plan to establish their international presence with an office in the US shortly. Gensol aims to be a market leader in Carbon and Green space in India through their expertise in verticals like waste management, energy efficiency, water harvesting and green building .

Devised, designed and programmed over a 5 month period, Gensol has launched GMIS (Gensol Management Information System) for planned collection, processing, storing and disseminating data in the form of information needed to carry out the efficient functions of management.

A petroleum engineer by education, Anmol Singh Jaggi is widely considered an authority on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Through his keen intellect, enthusiastic attitude and industrious approach, he has lead Gensol Consultants to become the fastest growing Carbon Consultancy. Anmol established Gensol Consultants Pvt Ltd as a Carbon Consulting firm in March 2007 after completing his BTech in Applied Petroleum Engineering from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Under his dynamic entrepreneurship and vision, Gensol has climbed the ladder of success at an exponential rate in a short span of time. Anmol has advised over 100 clients spread over 16 Indian states with over 10 million Emission Reductions including Wind, Hydro, Bagasse Based Cogeneration, Natural Gas, and Fuel Switching Projects which has helped the clients to successfully monetize their carbon assets. In the last 3 years, Anmol has developed & mentored a team of very young, vibrant and committed consultants.

Anmol was nominated and selected to be a member of 100 most promising young leaders under the age of 40 years by the Young leaders’ Group. He has been a part of various conferences and seminars organised by TERI, FICCI, CII, IVCJ & the likes of The British Council & Indian Chamber of Commerce as guest speaker to speak on carbon mechanisms, assets and markets.
