It uses existing product design data and employs the latest simulation and visualization tools to build a solution which enables parties at diverse locations to see the product working, assembly-disassembly procedures and component identification. A virtual product simulation is thus created which facilitates observation of product operation, and support and maintenance. This is especially very useful for complex product structures where traditional video shooting or photography is not practical.

                It is an audio-visual Computer based training manual developed with the help of CAD models.  Its modular structure helps the trainees to comprehend the step-by-step procedures and/or guidelines to operate a certain machine/system. It is can be made available in various languages. It is cost effective, it captures even the minutest details of the System, and amending the CBT manuals is very easy and can be done whenever required. 3 Dimensional perspective of the system/machine helps the trainees to visualize while they are learning to operate it. Use of animation, flash makes the training more attractive, attention holding and interesting for the trainees. Atul is the Vice President Engineering Services with DesignTech Systems Ltd, a leading engineering services and solutions company and is responsible for the driving the overall services business strategy for the organization in the Indian, US, European and South East Asian market. He has over 11 year of experience in working with the OEM and SME segment across difference industry verticals ranging from Defense, Power & Nuclear Energy, Hi-Tech manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Machinery, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, heavy engineering etc. An engineer by qualification, he has spent time on all aspect of manufacturing including shop-floor, design, toolroom and has worked with numerous supplier across North INDIA to setup and implement digital design and manufacturing initiatives. Prior to his current assignment, Atul was the head of technical support division providing implementation services to organizations for state of the art CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM technologies. He specializes in computer aided manufacturing and was awarded directors gold medal during his engineering studies. Mr. Vikas Khanvelkar’s has rich experience of over 25 years in this industry. He has acquired his Bachelor of Engineering in (Electronics & Telecomm) from College of Engineering Pune (COEP). He has also pursued his Masters in Business Administration and specialized in Marketing.  Prior to starting his own business DesignTech Systems Ltd in 1998, Mr. Khanvelkar was associated with HCL Infosystems for 15 years, where he was heading CAD/CAM Division as a Country Manager for 5 years.
