Thejo was established in the year 1974 and has been a leader in Bulk Material Handling and maintenance of Belt Conveyor systems, ever since.  It is one of the few organizations engaged in the manufacturing, sales and servicing of specialized engineered products, catering to various segments of bulk materials handling industry. The company’s registered office is located in Chennai (Madras) with its manufacturing units close to Chennai. Its domestic presence is well established with a wide and detailed network of branch and site offices located around the country. The company’s global vision was launched by establishing partnerships in the Middle East, North America, Germany and Australia. The organization intends to duplicate its domestic setup into the global arena with elaborate International network, as its long term objective. The company’s total requirement of quality products is met by its in-house manufacturing setup. The manufacturing setup is ISO Certified and equipped with state of the art machinery, regularly upgraded to meet planned manufacturing capacity & improvement of process. Manufacturing
Thejo has three manufacturing facilities situated in Chennai. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery coupled with effective in process control to produce superior quality and reliable products. The Unit No. 1 manufactures all moulded ,extruded, rotocured and autoclaved rubber products and lining activies. The Unit No.2 the Conveyor Belt Reconditioning unit is equipped with high capacity vulcanizing presses, longitudinal and edge repairing machines, with hydraulic winders to handle heavy belts with ease. Unit No. 3 manufactures belt vulcanizing machines, belt repair machines, belt winders, winches and other conveyor belt handling equipments. It is a manufacturing facility equipped with all the modern facilities and up to date technology.

International associations
Thejo is the sole licensee for manufacture, sales and service of products of Martin Engineering, USA, a global leader in Bulk Material Handling industry. Vossloh Kiepe, Germany, is the leading manufacturer of devices for monitoring and controlling conveyor belt systems. Thejo is the sole licensee for marketing of Kiepe products in India.
