- The new integrated terminal building of Mangalore airport was inaugurated on 15th May 2010. As part of the upgradation project, the work order for extending the runway would be issued soon, cargo complex will also come up.

- Plans to install solar panels on the roof of the new terminal at Leh Airport that will be used to generate about 100kw and use that to heat up water. This green project is likely to be ready in next two years.
