QE2 Series DC Electric Screwdrivers and Nutrunners

Ingersoll Rand is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new addition to the world-class QE Family of DC Electric Fastening Tools: the QE2 Series.  The brand new QE2 Series offers three styles; pistol, angle and inline with torque ranges from 0.3 to 15 Nm. These high precision transducerized tools have been specifically designed to work with the ICD and M Series of controllers for the purpose of applying precise torques to fasteners using any of a number of advanced tightening algorithms.  Full closed-loop transducerized control delivers traceability and error-proofing to maximize productivity and product quality.

                Designed with the end user in mind, QE2 Series screwdrivers let the operator focus on the task and not the tool.  The durable composite bodies, comfortable handles and grips, and easy-to-use controls make these tools tough, but comfortable to use.  Integral headlights, high visibility status lights and high speeds, make these tools an operator’s best choice in precision tools.  These tools are designed for use on both critical and non-critical applications where precision, quality and high speed run downs for production are required in market segments such as Automotive and Automotive Tier Suppliers, Electronics, White Goods and more.

                The QE2 Series tools are available in pistol, angle and inline configurations in a wide breadth of torques, speeds and drive sizes so that your customer’s choice of a model will best fit their situation and application. All units have been tested to meet the difficult and stringent requirements of high production applications. All units include, as standard, special composite housings and components to make them ESD safe. New lightweight and highly flexible cables along with a bit selector tray have been developed to compliment the QE2 Series.  Special power units are also available to make it easy to attach productivity enhancing accessories like screw feeders and vacuum pick-ups. The QE2 Series tools are available now in a full-breadth of configurations. Each unit is custom built to your specification, tested and certified. These tools will work with all IC1D or IC1M controllers, ICS Software and IC accessories.
