Trimans extra edge hydraulic shears

Nugen manufacturers Trimans Extra Edge Hydraulic Shearing machines in a range of thickness of 20mm, 25mm and 32 mm in a length of 2.5 meter to 4mtr. built with accuracies as per international standards. Horizontally mounted single cylinder with pair of bell crank levers offers the simplest Hydraulic system. All lever pivots are assembled with permanently self lubricated spherical bearings.

                The rake angle can be adjusted by push button for twist free shearing. The guides are located on the outside of side frames which makes it possible to use much longer and wider guide for accurate guiding to cutting beam and permits visual inspection of the guides for wear without dismantling the ram. The mechanical leverage multiplies the tonnage of the cylinder permitting relatively small cylinder. The ram moves at an angle of 1.5 degrees to the vertical to avoid non-cutting edges of blade from rubbing against the sheet and avoid trapping of cut sheets between bottom blade and backguage. All four sides of top and bottom HCHCr blades are usable reducing regrinding costs. All segments of top and bottom blade are interchangeable facilitating easy regrinding and part replacement. The blade clearance is calibrated for thicknesses of materials and can be accurately set by push button.

                The hydraulic hold downs are located very close to the blade and provide positive gripping of sheets enabling distortion free shearing of narrow strips. Independent control of hold down permits shearing on scribed lines. The shear automatically reverses on completion of cut irrespective of job length reducing idle travel. The inbuilt hydraulic overload protection protects the machine and the blades against damage due to misuse or overload. The silent smooth vibration free operation improves the working atmosphere increasing productivity. Smooth and uniform shearing action avoids impact loads on blades and foundations. The machine is provided with all standard accessories such as shadow light indicator, squaring arms, front operated motorized back gauge, Push Button variable rake angle adjustment, motorized blade clearance adjustment, hardened transfer bars on table, front sheet supports, etc.
