HPL set to cross turnover of Rs.1000 cr by 2010

Elecrama organised by IEEMA, which represents the entire Indian electrical industry, is the largest international exhibition of its kind in Asia and among the biggest in the world, offering an opportunity to industry and trade to exhibit and view, under one roof, a wide variety of electrical, professional electronics and allied products.
On the first day of Elecrama 2010, the Honourable Minister Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde, the Cabinet Minister for Power , unveiled HPL’s three latest, innovative and quality products including the current limiting Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB), CT-2EMG Plus -Multi Function Dual Source Meter & Ebrit Digital Panel Meters. Also present at the unveiling were Mr Lalit Seth , CMD of HPL India Ltd., Mr Rishi Seth, Jt. Managing Director of HPL India Ltd. , Mr. Gautam Seth, Jt. M.D of HPL India Ltd amongst others.
Unveiling the latest products, Mr. Rishi Seth, , Jt. During this period, the company plans to invest additional Rs. 120 crore towards new manufacturing facilities. These additional manufacturing facilities will house expansion in Wires & Cables, a new Switchgear manufacturing set-up and expansion in R&D activities of the HPL Group.”
The latest additions in the HPL electric product line are:
Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) –TAB Series: HPL has developed this current limiting MCCB with the latest technology for heavy duty usage. The MCCB has a unique feature having adjustable thermal and magnet adjustable. The MCCB is suitable for circuit protection in individual enclosures, switchboards, lighting and power panels as well as motor control centers. HPL’s MCCB is designed to be trip- free & protect systems against overload and short circuits up to 65kA with the full range of accessories. Made with BMC material that is unbreakable and has a very high dielectric strength, HPL’s MCCB will be available in various frame sizes rated current from 10A- 800A in both fixed & adjustable magnetic settings.
CT-2EMGPlus, a Multi Function Dual Source Meter: HPL has launched the energy metering solutions of two sources in one meter. Some of the features of HPL Socomec’s CT-2EMGPlus, a multi function dual source meter include it measures over 45 Parameters including Voltage, Current, Frequency, kW, kVA; kVAr, PF, Active Energy for Mains, Generator and Total, MD in kW and kVA for Mains and generator separately with date and time, run hours & power on hours, last 6 months history parameters for kWh and MD through communication, last 10 event logging for Mains / Generator switching, amongst others.
Ebrit Digital Panel Meter: Another innovative product from the basket of HPL, Three Phase Power Meter is accuracy packed in technology. Its unique feature include kW, kVA, kVAr on a same meter - Site selectable, Accuracy Maintained through out the range, Universal auxiliary supply: 80 to 300V AC/DC, Push Button based site programming of CT ratio, Coloured indication for R, Y & B phases, Bright 4 Digit 11mm LED display, Auto adjustable decimal point, Auto scroll facility & Scroll Lock facility provided, Password protected programming, amongst others.
