HPL : Showcased the exclusive product portfolio  at Elecrama 2010

HPL participated in Elecrama exhibition held at Mumbai from 20th to 24th January 2010, which is organised by IEEMA, represents the entire Indian Electrical Industry, is the largest international exhibition of its kind in Asia and among the biggest in the world, offering an opportunity to industry and trade to exhibit and view, under one roof, a wide variety of electrical, professional electronics and allied products.
                HPL Group, Rs. 1000 crore in 2010 is country’s leading manufacturer of Electrical Protection Equipments, Switchgears, Lighting, Energy Meters & Energy Management Systems showcased its entire range in Elecrama. On the first day of Elecrama 2010, Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde, the Hon’ble Union Minister of Power, unveiled HPL’s latest, innovative Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB). On this occassion, Mr. Rishi Seth., Jt. MD, HPL Group said “We have an unwavering commitment to create world class quality products. Our latest launch, the current limiting Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is yet another step in the same direction. We at HPL lay a lot of stress on the strategic product positioning based on the specific requirements of the particular intended segment to compliment the efforts at the market place. Following the simple philosophy of 3D’s i.e. Duty to work, Discipline to quality & Devotion to customers today HPL group has created a niche for itself in the electrical industry globally & is now not only recognized for its conventional product line, but also for venturing into hi-tech products suiting each and every market segment.” Mr. Gautam Seth, Jt.  TAB MCCB, MCCB Distribution Panel
HPL’s Switcgear R&D has developed TAB series of Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs with unique features like current limiting, reliable & precise protection against circuit abnormalities like over load, short circuit etc., lineload reversibility & adjustable overload protection against changing loads to meet & exceed various application demand. HPL MCCB s are available from 10A- 800A in different frame sizes with breaking capacity from 10kA- 65kA for different applications like distribution circuit, gen-set, transformer, capacitor bank, motor circuit and many more including DC circuits. It also offers wide range of accessories which can even be fitted at site as per need. The compactness in size and cut out dimension would make it simple to install.

                Also to address power distribution requirements with a better engineered, readily available high quality tested solution, HPL introduced MCCB Distribution Panel incorporating TAB series of MCCBs. Very High Short Circuit withstand, availability of 4/6/8/10/12 & 16 ways, supply ‘ON’ indication & optional Digital metering as per the need are some of its user friendly features. This is an ideal solution for application requiring very high level of reliability, safety & compactness. It can also incorporate Motor duty MCCBs (MD series) of HPL. HPL also offers MCCBs fitted in enclosures for various indoor & outdoor usages.

Multi function Dual Source Meter
Setting up a new milestone, HPL has brought new series of Dual source multifunction meters which measure energy of two sources in a single meter. This meter measures and displays all basic electrical parameters, active energy for mains, generator and total, maximum demand in kW and kVA for mains / generator separately etc. This meter is capable of recording history for last 6 months for Energies and Maximum demands. It also logs last 10 events each for mains/ generator switching with energy snap shots. These parameters can be downloaded through RS485 MODBUS communication. These meters are available in Class 1.0 and 0.5 accuracies with optional 2 nos. relay outputs which can be used for demand control (For kw & kVA). These outputs can also be assigned for controlling actions based upon voltage, current, frequency, Total kW, Total kVA.

Marking another score in the existing ebrit range HPL with its innovative ideas brings a new model  of power meter with the following features:

Luminaires
After sucessfully establishing its presense in CFL, lamps, HPL has introduced Luminaires for different indoor application segments. The indoor Luminaires using T5-Fluorescent lamps, CFL Lamps and downlighter with LED were exhibited.
