Kirloskar Brothers Limited releases centenary year ‘Cascade’

Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), the largest pump manufacturer and turnkey contractor in India issued a special centenary year ‘Cascade’, an in-house publication. The special hundred page issue was released at the hands of Mr. J. R. Sapre, Director, KBL and Mr. R. K. Srivastava, Director, KBL. Also present to grace the occasion were Mr. Avinash Purandare, Vice President Corporate Global Marketing & Strategy (CGMS), KBL and Editor-in-Chief (Cascade), Ms. Pallavi Kharade, Managing Editor (Cascade), Mr. D B Nimbalkar, Vice President (CHRM&C), KBL and other senior officials from KBL. The Cascade opens with Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar sharing his thoughts on the occasion. The cover story of the Cascade takes readers through the journey of Kirloskar Brothers Limited, a company that initiated industrialisation in Maharashtra. The Cascade gives an overview of the growth of KBL and the path it aims to traverse in times to come as a global leader in water business. It contains articles on milestones of KBL and contribution by its earlier members, dealers, vendors and other associates who played an important role to accelerate growth of the company.

                Speaking on the occasion Mr. J. R. Sapre, Director, KBL, said, “This Cascade issue is an insight to the growth of not only a company but a whole new evolution that it lead to in Maharashtra. And as the cover page says, with the innovative approach that defines the expansion of KBL through the years, we are still ‘100 years youthful today’.” All in all, this issue of ‘Cascade’ is truly a collector’s edition.
